Books are wonderful tools that can educate and inspire people. Reading gives individuals new perspectives on life and allows them to travel time and space without ever leaving the comfort of their living room.
Most people I’ve talked to said they stopped reading books after high school or college. Of course, they wished they read more but they blame a lack of time as the culprit. Hearing this repeatedly, I decided to write an article to help others find time to read.
President Obama and the Importance of Books
A couple months ago in January, I read a New York Times article that was about a man who holds a high-level position. His occupation requires him to be in constant contact with government officials, business executives and world leaders. Most days he only gets six hours of sleep. However, he still finds time to read every day for an hour.
That man is President Obama.
