In 2017 I read a total of 35 books, but I actually bought 52 books. I always try to buy used books to save money and the only book I've ever pre-ordered was "12 Rules for Life" by Jordan Peterson. By buying used books, I figured I'd save a ton of money and the amount I spent on books would be quite small.
To test this hypothesis, I decided to review all of my book purchases to find out exactly how much I've spent on books in 2017. Here is the cost of each book I've bought last year:

Keep in mind that the cost listed is just the total cost of the books and does not include shipping. In total, I think it’s safe to say that I’ve spent ~$500 or so on books in 2017.
As you can see the cost of books adds up, throw in the cost of maintaining a website and it comes out to several hundreds dollars a year. However, I truly enjoy reading and writing and want to continue sharing awesome lessons and knowledge with everyone.
